Compare the same income from the other direction with the Salary to Hourly Calculator, or estimate extra weekly earnings with the Overtime Pay Calculator.
How hourly pay converts to annual salary
Multiply your hourly rate by the hours you work each week, then multiply that weekly amount by the number of paid weeks in the year. At a standard 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year, a $25 hourly rate equals $52,000 in gross annual pay before taxes, benefits and other deductions.
This conversion is useful when comparing an hourly role with a salaried offer. If your schedule varies, enter the average hours you realistically expect to work each week rather than assuming 40. For overtime-eligible work, calculate regular annual pay here and then use the Overtime Pay Calculator to estimate additional earnings separately.
Evaluating a raise? Use the Pay Raise Percentage Calculator to compare your current rate with a new offer, then convert the new hourly rate here to see the annual difference.
