Overtime Pay Calculator
How overtime pay is calculated
For a standard 1.5× overtime rate, overtime pay is hourly rate × 1.5 × overtime hours. Regular pay and overtime pay are then added for estimated gross pay.
Example
At $20 per hour with 40 regular hours and 5 overtime hours, regular pay is $800 and overtime pay is $150, for $950 estimated gross pay.
